Users of the AYDAPAY website and mobile application
Customers using AYDAPAY services

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including but not limited to name, address, email address, phone number, identification details, transaction data, or online identifiers such as IP address, in accordance with the GDPR.
Depending on the service and regulatory requirements, we may collect:

Date of birth
Nationality
Residential address
Email address and telephone number
Sender and beneficiary details
Purpose of transactions and relationship (where applicable)
Identification documents (passport, national ID, driving licence)

As part of our Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance procedures, AYDAPAY may collect facial images and related identity verification information submitted by users.

Selfie photographs submitted by the user;
Facial images contained in passports, national identity cards, residence permits, or other identification documents;
Liveness verification images or video frames where required for identity verification.
AYDAPAY uses such information solely for:
Identity verification;
Fraud prevention and detection;
Compliance with applicable AML, CFT, sanctions screening, and regulatory obligations;
Protection of users and the AYDAPAY platform from unauthorized access or misuse.
AYDAPAY does not use facial images for advertising, profiling, marketing purposes, or automated biometric identification unrelated to identity verification.
Facial images and identity verification data may be processed by AYDAPAY and by authorized identity verification and compliance service providers, including Sumsub, acting on AYDAPAY's behalf and subject to contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Face data is stored using secure technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transmission, encrypted cloud storage, and restricted access controls.
Facial images and related identity verification records may be retained for up to five (5) years following the end of the customer relationship, or longer where required by applicable law, AML regulations, fraud prevention requirements, or requests from competent authorities, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized where permitted by law.
We process personal data to:
Provide and operate AYDAPAY services
Register and manage user accounts
Execute transactions and related operations
Verify identity and comply with AML/CFT obligations
Prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorised access
Provide customer support and resolve issues
Improve service functionality and performance
Comply with legal, regulatory, and accounting obligations
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Personal data is processed based on one or more of the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:
Performance of a contract
Legal obligations
Legitimate business interests (such as security and fraud prevention)

AYDAPAY does not routinely transfer personal data outside the EEA.
Where such transfers become necessary in the future (e.g. due to international payouts or service providers), AYDAPAY will apply appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including:
Secure systems and access controls
Encryption in transit where applicable
Limited access based on roles and necessity
Confidentiality obligations for staff and contractors
These measures are proportionate to the nature and scale of our operations as a developing fintech company.
AYDAPAY retains personal data only for as long as necessary to:
Provide and maintain our services;
Fulfil contractual obligations;
Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT), sanctions compliance, and other applicable obligations;
Prevent fraud, investigate suspicious activity, and protect the security of our platform;
Handle complaints, disputes, audits, and legal claims.
Account information, transaction records, customer communications, identity verification records, and related compliance documentation may be retained for up to five (5) years following the termination of the customer relationship, or for any longer period required by applicable law, regulatory requirements, court orders, or requests from competent authorities.
Facial images, selfie photographs, liveness verification images, and facial images contained in identity documents collected for identity verification purposes may be retained for up to five (5) years following the termination of the customer relationship, or longer where required by applicable AML, CFT, fraud prevention, record-keeping, or other legal obligations.
Where retention is no longer necessary and no legal obligation requires continued storage, personal data will be securely deleted, anonymised, or otherwise disposed of using appropriate technical and organisational measures.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to:

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request erasure of data (where legally permitted)
Restrict or object to processing
Request data portability
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
